We endeavour to create a friendly and caring atmosphere in which all members of the school community feel secure and valued.
Atherton Nursery and Infant School has 6 classes organised in Year groups - two Reception Classes, two Year 1 classes and two Year 2 classes. There is also Nursery with 52 children in the morning session and 26 pupils in the afternoom. We are also fortunate to have a new, additional classroom known as the Green Room, used for teaching small groups of pupils and also for our lunchtime club.
