UNIFORMS

With the support of the School Board, the school has a policy that all pupils must wear school uniform.

Our commitment to school uniform is based on the following reasons:

  1. it is an important aspect of school security, clearly identifying the pupil with the school.

  2. it avoids often expensive competition in dress and footwear.

  3. it gives the school a good reputation.

The details of our school uniform are as follows

Girls Boys
White school blouse White school shirt
White T-shirt or polo shirt with school logo White T-shirt or polo shirt with school logo
Black or Navy Crew-neck sweatshirt with school logo on sleeve Black or Navy Crew-neck sweatshirt with school logo on sleeve
Plain V-neck Sweater with logo (black) Zipped Cardigan with logo (black)
Zipped Cardigan with logo (black) Black fleece with logo
Black fleece with logo Navy-blue or black trousers
Navy-blue or black trousers or skirt (Standard lengths) Black shoes (NOT trainers)
School Tie, School Scarf School Tie, School Scarf
Black shoes (NOT trainers)

All items with the school logo, are sold by McAree’s in Stirling.  The trousers, skirts and shoes are available from most department stores.  The trousers should be tailored and both the skirt and trousers should be the normal length (no cropped trousers or very short skirts).   The address for McAree’s is 55-59 King Street, Stirling - telephone number 01786 465646.

Finally, we wish to appeal to all parents to support the school by insisting that pupils wear school uniform.  We want all pupils to be proud of being a member of our community.

There is a separate PE uniform which consists of T-shirts/hooded fleece and track suit bottoms. These items can be purchased from the PE department in the school.  These items are for Physical Education only.
