Teachers Resources
Homework & Study Centre
The Centre is open to pupils from all schools from p6 upwards. We also welcome students in Further Education establishments to avail of our excellent facilities and the expertise of our centre staff. We provide computers for coursework and research purposes, and professional assistance with homework and exam coursework on a one to one basis. For children who experience difficulty with reading we have a reading club. We cover a wide range of subjects. The Centre has been in operation for almost five years and during that time it has been proven that pupils who have attended on a regular basis have achieved the best G.C.S.E. results and have gone on to do 'A' Levels and then University.
C.B.S. has invested considerable time, effort, money, indeed we have had to fight to keep the Centre open. It is our Homework Centre it is here for your children.
Pottery Club
Tuesday from 3.20 to 4.00.
In the Pottery Club, many pupils like to make small coil, slab, moulded or thrown pots which they decorate, fire and glaze, and take home.
Unfortunately the numbers need to be limited to a maximum of around ten, so it's important that you speak to Mr. McGlone and secure your place as soon as possible.
