At Cotsford Infant School we aim, through praise and positive encouragement to enable every child to develop his/her full potential within the school and community.

Aims

Working in partnership with parents, the school endeavours to provide a well ordered, caring learning environment where pupils can build on their experiences to develop intellectually, to become self reliant and to co-operate with others.

Through our work in school, with parents and the local community, we aim to:-

• provide a broad, balanced, relevant curriculum in line with the requirements of the National Curriculum and R.E.

• develop every pupil's ability to use language and numbers effectively.

• ensure that every pupil enjoys equality of esteem and equality of opportunity regardless of ability, disability, race, gender, religion or social background.

• develop in our pupils responsibility and respect for themselves, others and the environment.

• develop in our pupils an awareness, understanding and appreciation of the natural world and human achievement.
