SCHOOL AIMS 2001 - 2005
SA1: To raise standards of achievement in Modern Foreign Languages through the increased quality of teaching and learning;
SA2: To extend curriculum opportunities in Modern Foreign Languages through
a. Diversification,
b. International Opportunities,
c. Technological Enrichment;
SA3: To increase the take up and interest in Modern Foreign Languages courses at both:
a. Key Stage 3,
b. Key stage 4;
COMMUNITY AIMS 2001 - 2005
CA 1. To provide high quality learning opportunities in Modern Foreign Languages in the community through the sharing of specialist facilities and resources with:
a. schools and colleges,
b. organisations and individuals,
c. commerce,
d. industry;
CA 2. To increase the take up and interest in Modern Foreign Languages in the partner group of schools and organisations;
CA 3. To develop and disseminate good practice to share with:
a. other schools, including non-specialist secondary schools,
b. colleges and community organisations,
c. industry and commerce;
CA 4. To prepare all members of the community for full participation in the evolution of the European Community, whether as participants in industry and commerce, or as visitors, through curricular and extra-curricular activities. |
