At Greenhills Primary School we have an experienced, talented and enthusiastic team of teachers, early years workers and support staff. We are all committed to providing the children with a stimulating learning environment designed to ensure children feel safe and valued and are encouraged and supported to achieve their potential. Our spacious new building opened in August 2006 and comprises of nine mainstream classes, four supported classes and a nursery. All classes are carpeted and have internet connection. We have a purpose built IT suite with an interactive whiteboard. Our infant department has a large, well resourced structured play area where children can develop a wide range of cross curricular skills. A sensory room is available to provide a calming environment for the children. Our playground is large, with designated areas for infants, juniors and seniors. There are painted games, a football pitch, grass and woodland areas and an Eco Garden which we are currently developing.

Guitar Club

Children will learn to read simple musical notation and play elementary guitar pieces. Daily practice of 10 - 15 minutes at home is recommended.
They will have the opportunity to perform in front of an audience.

Netball

Children will practise netball skills and become familiar with rules and match play. Our school plays in competitions as part of a local netball league.

Football

Children will practise football skills and become familiar with rules and match play. Our school plays in competitions as part of a local football league.

Jumping Beans

Children take part in a range of activities designed to improve balance and co-ordination.
