ABOUT US

We are situated at the entrance to Haldane Housing Estate in Balloch, close to Loch Lomond. The school, opened in 1958, is a traditional style of building and is situated in attractive grounds with a school garden, a grass football pitch and a wildlife garden. We have a participative ethos throughout the school with children excelling in sporting activities as well as academic achievement.

There’s lots happening at Haldane Primary School this year. Here’s what our infant classes are busy with, and what they’d like to see in our web site.

Primary 1

Miss Livingstone’s class are learning about grandparents in their ‘Katie Morag’ topic. In the gym hall, they’ve been doing a lot of running and bouncing balls. They would like to see pupils’ writing on our web page.

Primary 2/1

Mrs Brady’s class are learning how to look after pets in their project. They like taking part in ‘Time to Move’ in P.E. and would like to see some games, cartoons and stories on our web site.

Primary 3

Mrs Currie’s children have gone back in time to learn about the Egyptians for their project. In P.E. they are flying high with gymnastics.
