Lenzie Moss Primary School was completed in 1969 and is an attractive building of traditional design. It is spacious with wide corridors and has a large assembly hall. The main block has two storeys and the infant wing has one. The grounds are large with plenty of room for outdoor activities and there is a separate playground for P1 and P2 pupils.
We are a non-denominational, co-educational school covering all stages from P1 to P7. The present roll is 283 but we can accommodate up to 528 pupils. Parents should be aware that the working capacity of the school may vary dependent upon the number of pupils at each stage and the way in which the classes are organised. In Scotland for Primary 1 and Primary 2 the maximum class size is 30. In Primary 4 - Primary 7 the maximum class size is 33. Where composite classes are formed the maximum class size is 25.
Outwith the school day the school is used for community facilities ie Before and After School Club.
