Welcome from the Headteacher, Mrs Liz Jackson. Welcome to our school! Little Thurrock isn’t little at all. In fact it’s one of the largest schools in Thurrock, but Large Thurrock doesn’t sound so good. (‘Little Thurrock’ is really an area of Grays, where our school is situated). We always have plenty going on and there are many things to like about us: we’re artistic, musical, gymnastic, sporting, dramatic, highly literate and supremely numerate. Our children are very special and our parents and governors support the school really well. We have many teachers, young and experienced, who are very good. They work extremely hard during the school day, but still manage to run lots of before school and after school clubs. In every class we have people called Learning Support Assistants, who do a great job helping children to learn. I'd be happy to talk about our school and show people around.
