School Trips and Visits
"Primary education is a critical stage in children's development - it shapes them for later life. As well as giving them the essential tools for learning, primary education is about children experiencing the joy of discovery, solving problems, being creative ..." (from Excellence and Enjoyment: A Strategy for Primary Schools published by DfES)
Educational trips and visits are an integral part of the curriculum at North Crawley CE School. Visits have included Hazard Alley, Milton Keynes Museum of Rural Life and Emberton Park. We encourage visitors and local people to our school to enhance the curriculum we provide.

Policy of Charging
Governors at North Crawley CE School have agreed a policy whereby parents may be invited to make a voluntary contribution towards the cost of some activities, which take place during term time. No child will be excluded from such activities through lack of contribution. However, if there is insufficient financial support the activity or visit may have to be cancelled. |
