 subject inspection of Personal, Social & Health Education (PSHE) was undertaken by HMI in September 2006 when the school was judged to be outstanding.

As a result of receiving an excellent Ofsted report in 2003, Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Schools honoured the school by including it in Ofsted's list of most successful schools in England.

In 2003 the school received an Achievement Award from the DfES for its rising standards and achievements in SATs results.

The curriculum we provide for your child encompasses their whole development in the areas of intellectual, moral, physical, cultural, emotional, spiritual and social growth.  To achieve this we follow the National Curriculum and other statutory requirements.  The National Curriculum applies to children of compulsory school age and is organised on the basis of four key stages. It sets out the most important knowledge and skills that every child has a right to learn.

Children who are not yet at the age to commence the National Curriculum follow the Foundation Curriculum at the school.  This, in many ways, is an even more important part of a child's development and learning process.

School Trips and Visits

Educational trips and visits are an integral part of the curriculum at North Crawley CE School. Visits have included Hazard Alley, Milton Keynes Museum of Rural Life and Emberton Park. We encourage visitors and local people to our school to enhance the curriculum we provide.

Policy of Charging

Governors at North Crawley CE School have agreed a policy whereby parents may be invited to make a voluntary contribution towards the cost of some activities, which take place during term time. No child will be excluded from such activities through lack of contribution. However, if there is insufficient financial support the activity or visit may have to be cancelled.
