Discipline is based on the Christian virtues of Love, Forgiveness and New Beginning as is outlined in our Mission Statement "Love One Another as I Have Loved You". It is essential that parents and teachers work in partnership to help each child to develop a respect for his/her own person and belongings, and to respect other people and their property.
For good work, effort, honesty, helpfulness, success, courage and other qualities children are praised verbally or in writing and mentioned at school at Friday afternoon Celebration Assemblies to which parents are always welcome.
We put into practice a positive reinforcement behaviour policy details of which are in our Relationships policy available at school.
Good manners are an integral part of any community. All children should be familiar with the words “please”, “thank you”, “excuse me” and “sorry”. Pupils are expected to walk quietly around the school and display good manners at all times, including in the dining room.
