| Welcome to Our School!!!
Our dedicated team provides high quality care and education for all children;
this supports and challenges pupils guiding them to achieve academic, spiritual, social and emotional, as well as physical, wellbeing and progress.
We are proud of the achievements of our children and the many ways in which they are prepared for the challenges of life and the world around them. We firmly believe in promoting the relationship between the child, home and school and recognise this as being central to all of the aims and objectives of the school. We always work hard to promote a happy, honest and friendly relationship with parents and carers.
Our CARE (Cooperate, Achieve, Respect & Enjoy) approach to learning and life governs our behaviour, building mutual trust, respect and empathy towards and for all. Please visit us to experience this for yourself; where you can begin sharing in the exciting developments and atmosphere of Pinhoe CE (VA) Primary School.

| Through our Christian beliefs and values which are underpinned by our CARE
philosophy, we aim to provide a happy, friendly, safe, caring and stimulating
environment for the children. This is to be achieved through the mutual trust
and support of staff, parents, governors and the wider community of Pinhoe.
- We believe our school, underpinned by Christian values, is the best
place for us to grow.
- It is an exciting community in which to learn, teach and explore with
high expectations for social and academic excellence
- By understanding ourselves, our skills and our talents, we will make a
difference in the world

| Pinhoe Primary School provides the full Foundation and National Curriculum
ensuring that the children benefit through the delivery of a rich, diverse and
creative approach to teaching and learning. Individual pupil needs are met
through a range of strategies employed by staff; generated through effective
assessment and well considered planning and preparation of learning activities. The school promotes the virtues of holistic learning and
achievement: celebrating progress in National Curriculum subjects, i.e.
English, Mathematics, Science, Information and Communication Technology
(ICT), Religious Education (RE) and Physical Education; but also recognises
and builds upon vital key skills of the National Curriculum which include:
Communication, Working with others, Problemsolving
and Evaluation to
Improve Own Performance. |
| At Pinhoe Primary School we see education as a holistic experience which
must meet the academic, social, physical and emotional needs of our
children. One of the many ways in which we meet these needs is through
extracurricular
activities. The children enjoy taking part in a wide range of
activities which include football, rugby, tennis, volleyball, aerobics, dance, art,
drama and choir.
We have close links with St Luke’s Specialist Sports College and our children
benefit from the use of their facilities and from sp |
