Ref: Anti Social Behaviour.
Thames Valley Police are currently working to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, to improve the quality of life for Milton Keynes residents and to keep young people out of trouble.
Recently as a community we have been suffering from a spate of anti social behaviour, and problems have been focussing on play areas, parks and local centres.
As we approach Halloween and Bonfire night we usually experience an increase in ‘trick or treat’, firework and fire setting incidents, which cause alarm and distress and can result in damage to property and injuries to those involved.
Of course we are only talking about a minority of young people who cause a disproportionate amount of problems which as a society we cannot tolerate. As the half term holiday approaches I would ask that parents take the time to consider where their teenage children are and what time they are coming home. We suggest this with their personal safety and well being in mind.
As a local community we want to enjoy ourenvironment and ensure that anti social behaviour is kept to an absolute minimum. With your support and that of our partners, we would hope that any such behaviour will be dealt with and brought to a conclusion.
Yours Sincerely
