Football News: First games of the season took place this week with Iford and Kingston visiting Southover. The A team won 3-1 in a closely fought game and a strong B team managed a 7 - 0 win against a brave but unlucky visiting team. Well done to all the players from both sides and congratulations to those Southover players representing the school for the first time!

Moving On: All at Southover send their best wishes to all the children who moved on to their secondary schools at the end of term. We also wish the best of luck to Mrs Forbes and Mr Whitelaw on their wonderful secondments, and to Mr Heath's promotion to Deputy Head at his new school.
Leavers' slideshow: Mrs Forbes created a terrific slideshow, which the children enjoyed, showing the leavers' progress through the school. It brought back many memories and took Mrs Forbes a long time!
Sports Days: the children have really enjoyed their sports days. Thanks to all those helped things run smoothly and those who took photos. I've put most of the photos we have on these galleries so you might see your child if you couldn't make it on the day. The gallery might take a short while to load.
