Welcome to St Aidan's Parents Association

October 2007
Dear Parents/Carers
I hope all of you are settled back into the school routine and that your children are enjoying their new classes.
School Calendar - We had a great response to the school calendar but before we can go ahead we must get everyone to respond. Any parents/carers who have not replied will receive a reminder shortly. Unfortunately if no reply slip is received then your child will not be photographed so we ask you to respond as soon as possible so no one is disappointed.
WHAT'S ON
Non Uniform Day - Friday 19th October
The last day of term will be a non uniform day with a theme of odd socks so now you have a great excuse to put your odd sock basket to good use. Please can you give your children £1 on the morning of Friday 19th October which will be collected by PTA members at the gates.
Quiz Night - Saturday 17th November
We invite you to our first social event of the year. A quiz will be held for adults only on Saturday 17th November in the school hall. We will be running a bar and food will be available. We are meeting next week to finalise this and then we will be asking for help in preparation and on the night, meanwhile we need donations of raffle prizes please - these can be taken into the school office. A family event will take place later in the school year.
St Aidan's Christmas Fair - Friday 7th December
A Christmas fair will take place after school on Friday 7th November - further details to follow.
May I take this opportunity of thanking you all for your continued support and look forward to meeting you at our forthcoming events. All offers of help and of course raffle prizes will be gratefully received.
Yours sincerely
Andrew Kavanagh
Chairman
