St Charles R.C. Primary School was established in 1873 and accepts children aged four to eleven years of age, from the parishes of All Saints, Ferryhill, Sacred Heart, Chilton and St Charles, Tudhoe.

Welcome to our new sports page.  We are very keen on sport at St Charles School.  Some of the many sporting activities we take part at School include: football, netball, cross country, athletics, tag rugby, kwik cricket, aerobics, gymnastics, dance and hockey.

After-school sports activities will resume after Spring Half Term. The usual times and days for training are listed below.

Our football team is currently top of the league, having played 3 games and are unbeaten.  Well done team and keep up the magnificent record.  League matches will resume in February.

Our girls football team recently participated in the Sedgefield Girls Football Festival and reached the semi-final without being beaten.  Unfortunately they were narrowly beaten by a single goal but represented their school exceptionally well and are to be congratulated on their sporting attitudes and achievements.
