Please read our Mission Statement, it means a lot to us all.
St Joseph’s is a Roman Catholic School that aims, above all else, to consider the uniqueness and individual needs of the children in its care. The school aims to impart Catholic values in preparing children to reach their full potential as members of the Catholic faith and as responsible citizens.
Each child is considered as a whole person developing the skills, concepts and attitudes necessary for his/her present and future needs, and those of society.
St Joseph’s aspires to value everyone associated with the school, irrespective of age, position, gender, race, background or ability. In so doing, it endeavours to motivate, support and inspire them in their personal, spiritual, emotional and educational growth; in a safe and secure environment.
It is an expressed intention to unite the staff, parents, students, governors, clergy, parishioners, diocese and local education authority; through agreed school policies, designed to ensure a high quality educational service.
Every person involved with the school community and with the development of this mission statement will have a copy of the statement which will also be displayed in the school. This document will be reviewed annually.
