Welcome
It is our pleasure to welcome you to this website which will give you information and insights on many aspects of life at St Patrick's Grammar School, Armagh.

Established in 1838, the school has a long and proud history, and has seen constant growth and development down the years. Originally providing for the education of quite small numbers of students, the school now serves over 750 boys from a wide catchment area that includes all of County Armagh and parts of Tyrone, Antrim and Down.
St. Patrick's Grammar School, Armagh, was officially opened on Thursday 27th October 1988 by the late Cardinal Tomas O' Fiaich, then Chairman of the Board of Governors. The new school was the result of the amalgamation of two of the province's oldest grammar schools, Christian Brothers' Grammar School and St. Patrick's College, both of which had illustrious traditions.
