Stephenson Way Community Primary School is a large primary school with a nursery. In September 2007 Stephenson Way Primary Schhol and Elmfield Primary School were amalgamated by Durham County Council. The new school opened to pupils on September 4th 2007.
Teaching is organised into three key stages. We have a Foundation Stage Unit that combines our Nursery and Reception classes, three Key Stage 1 and six Key Stage 2 classes. We also have a very special class each morning for some KS2 pupils.
