For nearly five years I have worked here at Stranton Primary School as Social Inclusion Officer, funded by New Deal.
Within this role I have the pleasure of supporting parents / carers, pupils and teachers with a variety of issues. These include Attendance, Behaviour, Bullying and Emotional support.
You are very welcome to drop by for a coffee and a chat during school hours at the Family Support Room. Alternatively, I can visit you at home at your convenience. Please do not hesitate to call me.
I look forward to seeing you, and do hope that I can be of some assistance to you in the near future.

My name is Louise Pattison and I am the Family Support Worker working for Barnardos at Stranton Primary School. I am here to support the children in and out of school but also yourself as a parent or carer. I am here to offer support, family and personal issues either by being a friendly listener, by acting as a go between with yourself and other agencies, or to give you information about activities or grants available in your area. I work in the Family Support Room in school, which is accessible by an outside door next to the main school entrance. If you have any concerns or worries just call in for a chat.
Hope to see you soon.
