| The Art & Design Department at Estover Community College is one of the largest in the country. We have 8 main studios that include the foundation room and ICT suite. There is also a dark room, a kiln room and a stone carving/large sculpture area. Further specialist areas for metal sculpture and etching are also available. The college resource area has a wide format printer, which reproduces images of 44ins x any length size.

| The recently refurbished Digital Media Department consists of two media suites housing PC’s and Mac’s which are capable of multi-media, video editing, animation, and Graphic Design. The department boasts a full compliment of digital stills and digital video cameras.
|
| The Performing Arts Department is located in a purpose built community arts facility called The Soundhouse, which boasts two high capacity performance arenas, dance and drama studios, recording studios, music practice rooms and a state-of-the-art Mac suite, for budding music producers. The Soundhouse regularly hosts student led events throughout the year, giving them many opportunities to assert their performing and technical skills before captive audiences.

| The 6th Form at Estover Community College is a place of tremendous opportunity. As a member you will follow courses that do more than provide you with qualifications for the next stage of your life – higher education, further training or employment – they will absorb, challenge and provoke you into new ways of thinking and working.
Whether you are a student currently studying here at Estover or at another school or college in the area, your decision to join our sixth form is a very important one. It is essential that you choose the right courses and be prepared to work very hard indeed. College staff are always on hand to offer you guidance before you begin and will use their knowledge of you to help you decide. Once you begin, Mrs Dunstan, Mr Mountjoy, Miss Rawlings and your personal tutor will provide further support.
