We offer more than just the National Curriculum. Each child spends a half a day a week at Forest School learning woodland skills that include the use of tools, wood cutting, charcoal making, fire lighting and shelter building. The Great Torrington Curriculum Agreement ensures all children experience a range of regular visits out of school, visitors into their classrooms, professional drama groups and opportunities to make oral presentations. They use puppets, take part in debates and draw regularly. The school day normally begins with a whole school keep fit session.
