The school caters for children aged from four to eleven years of age with the thirty or so pupils arranged in two classes, each with a full time teacher. Additional part time teachers and learning support assistants can provide an extended curriculum and extra support to those pupils that may require it.

The school has recently been awarded an Arts Council Artsmark Award in recognition of the contribution made to art in the curriculum and The Healthy Schools Award in recognition of the work done to promote the social and physical wellbeing of the children and staff.
