ABOUT US

Lilliput Church of England First School is situated in Lilliput in Poole and currently has 240 pupils on role. We admit 60 pupils each year into our two Reception classes.

One of our fundamental aims is to work in close partnership with our pupils, their parents and carers and our local community, particularly the Church of the Holy Angels, which is situated next door to the school.

We recognise that in placing your child in our care, you expect the very best from us too and we will strive to ensure that your child flourishes whilst they are with us.

From September 2006 we are introducing our 'new curriculum'. We shall be giving the children units of work lasting for three to four weeks that are exciting, fun and challenging. Each unit of work/project will be introduced to the children using a 'hook' to fire their imagination and hook them into the project! Details of each unit/project will be sent home to parents and will include a section on how parents can help both in school and at home.
