MISSION STATEMENT

“Royal Manor Arts College is a centre of excellence for the arts, providing artistic and cultural enrichment for its students in partnership with the local community. We educate young people towards excellence in all dimensions of their lives, recognising the uniqueness of each and the equality of all. Through creativity, innovation and enterprise students will broaden their horizons, maximise their potential and make meaningful contributions to society.”

ARTS COLLEGE STATUS

The Royal Manor School successfully achieved Arts College Status in September 2002 at the very first attempt. Nationally only 20 out of every 100 schools who apply are successful and it is very unusual to succeed at the first attempt.

We attribute this success to our hardworking and dedicated staff, supportive parents, enthusiastic students, caring community and the dynamic and forward thinking businesses that have supported our vision.

Arts College Status will mean an increase funding to provide better facilities and more teachers. It will lead to increased opportunities for all members of the community, both young and young at heart.

If you would like to know more about the Arts College and our vision for the future please contact the school and ask to speak to Mr Green (Headteacher) or Mr Russell (Deputy Headteacher).
