ABOUT US

Stickland's is a Church of England Voluntary Aided (VA) School, which means we are partially funded by the Diocese of Salisbury. Although we have a Church of England Foundation, the school is a community school welcoming all boys and girls between 4 and 11 years whether they have church allegiance or not.At Stickland's we offer a broad and balanced programme of study that meets the National Curriculum requirements.

We use a variety of teaching and learning styles with whole classes, year groups and individual children. We carefully monitor each child's progress in order to match the levels of work to the child's needs. There are also many extracurricular activities to enhance our children's education, including sports teams and clubs, music lessons and both day trips and residential holidays. Although a small school, Stickland's is part of a wider community, being a member of the Beaminster Pyramid.
