Hamilton Grammar School is the non denominational school serving the local community of Hamilton within South Lanarkshire council. The school aims to provide an inclusive education for all in order to ensure that every pupil achieves their full potential. The curriculum is designed to provide maximum impact and benefit to all sections within the learning community.
The school is centrally located in Hamilton with easy access to public transport and has an approximate role of 1150 pupils. The school serves the following primary schools: Beckford Primary School, Chatelherault Primary School, Quarter Primary School, St. John's Primary School and Woodside Primary School.

| As part of South Lanarkshire Council’s investment in improving school buildings, the school will be refurbished and a new extension which will house physical education and technology will be added.
The main features of our campus are purpose built Art, Business Studies, Communication Disorder Unit, Computing Studies, Drama, Home Economics, Library Resource Centre, Science and Technical facilities. State of the art ICT facilities are maintained as part of a rolling programme of refresh allowing our pupils to benefit from the latest technology. These superb facilities place Hamilton Grammar School at the forefront of Scottish Education.

| "Hamilton Grammar School is at the forefront of information technology within South Lanarkshire. Major expenditure ensures that a consistent managed approach to the provision of ICT is maintained both in cross curricular areas and core ICT related subjects.
Routinely pupils can expect to experience lessons which will contain ICT through the use of; Data Projectors, Smartboards, ICT classrooms and our wireless Notebus ™ Solution. The school network provides core office applications such Microsoft Office ™ as well as dedicated departmental software packages such as Crocodile Physics ™ or Sibelius ™. Pupils actively engage in research projects using the internet and e-mail facilities provided by the school.
All staff are committed to the use of ICT within the curriculum.
