Who is a University of Bolton undergraduate?

There is no typical University of Bolton undergraduate student. Undergraduates here are studying for a wide range of qualifications in different academic and vocational subjects, they are of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. Some are studying full-time, others part-time.

What about Further Education (FE)?

The University of Bolton offers a range of pre-degree and FE courses| including access and foundation qualifications that prepare students to study with us at undergraduate level. Our FE students have access to the same range of services and facilities as our undergraduates and benefit from the enriched learning opportunities available at the university.

What's it like studying at university?

Student life is busy, exciting, hard work and rewarding. Our students are taught by highly qualified and experienced researchers, and have access to the latest knowledge and thinking within their chosen subject. Many subjects offer the opportunity to work on ‘real world’ projects for business and industry, and are accredited by the professional body for that particular field.
