Learning, teaching and assessment is supported in a variety of ways from University policies to services whose remit is to support academic colleagues.
- Teaching Support Unit - provides academic and administrative support for the University's learning and teaching activities, including quality assurance procedures.
- Online support for teaching - useful list of online resources aimed at supporting different aspects of teaching and learning.
- Learning Technology Support Service - provides advice, information and assistance to University staff who use, or wish to adopt, learning technology in their teaching.
- Education Strategy - approved by the University in March 2004, the Education Strategy was designed to create the physical and cultural environment that will enable it to continue to offer a high quality student learning experience.
- Learning and Teaching Strategy - produced to refine and develop learning and teaching policy and practice in the University and to introduce measurable targets, to be achieved by specific dates.
- Teaching and Learning Programme for new staff - a modular and flexible programme for all new lecturers who teach at the University.
