International Students
The University of Cambridge is situated some 50 miles north of London and is one of the most ancient and distinguished universities in the world. Teaching has taken place in Cambridge since 1209 and today there are over 17,000 students at the University, including almost 3,000 international students from a wide range of countries.
Cambridge is one of the most selective of all universities. Only about 25 per cent of all applicants are successful, and of these only about 10 per cent are from outside the UK. While academic strength is a pre-requisite, it does not guarantee acceptance; we are looking for well motivated students who Colleges feel are well matched for the courses they have chosen.
