International Graduates Scheme
The University of Central England in Birmingham has produced a briefing for local employers, which aims to demystify the International Graduate Scheme. Introduced by the Government on 1st May this year, the International Graduate Scheme (IGS) was designed to help cement the UK’s status as a top study destination for international students.
It gives international students from all over the world, who obtain a bachelors degree or higher level qualification in any subject from a UK University, the right to remain in the country and work for one year, after they have completed their studies.
