Our School
Welcome to Sefton Park Juniors' Website.
In this site we hope to show you a little bit about our school: how we work, what we aim to provide for the children and some of the work they have done recently.
We hope you enjoy looking at our site.
Sefton Park Juniors is a county mixed school for children from 7 - 11 years old. It serves a local community, which is culturally and socially mixed. The number on roll at present is 279.
From September there will be two mixed ability parallel classes in years 3, 4 and 5. Year 6 will have 3 classes. There are no mixed year group classes. Each class teacher is responsible for the education and pastoral care of the children in his/her class.
There will be 9 full-time teachers + headteacher. The staff work closely when planning and evaluating work, they also possess a wide range of expertise, which is readily shared. All staff value their relationship with children, parents and each other.
Our Vision " Our school is an exciting community in which to learn, develop and achieve and where everyone is valued."
At Sefton Park Juniors we aim to meet the needs, interests and abilities of all children through challenging, creative and relevant experiences.
We hope to develop children as individuals and as part of the school community.
We aim to provide a caring school community and also to foster good relations with the 'local area'.
We hope that children will look back at their time with us with fond memories.
