Holtspur Primary School

We are a one form entry school in Beaconsfield with a language department offering specific support for up to ten children.  We are  an energetic and enthusiastic staff.  We care about all our children and try to make their days happy and successful.  We have excellent facilities including a purpose built music room, an excellent modern ICT suite, a large sports field, two playgrounds and an adventure playground. The classrooms are bright and spacious with a computer area and a separate  space for creative activities.

Holtspur is a suburban primary school situated on the outskirts of Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. It is a county combined junior and infant school, and has around 250 pupils.  The teaching staff are all united in their commitment towards the complete education of the pupils in the school.  Close contact is maintained between home and school so that learning and behaviour are shared responsibilities.  Pupils are expected to achieve high standards of work and behaviour within the happy, secure, challenging atmosphere of the school.  They are also encouraged to develop personal qualities, to be independent and to care for others and their environment.  Positive staff attitudes and staff/pupil relationships are considered to be of great importance in this development.  The excellent teaching across the school and pupils' very positive attitudes to their work enable them to achieve exceedingly well and make very good progress in their learning. The effective work of the Language Department and its integration into the full life of the school, is an important factor in the school's success.
