Welcome to New Bradwell School's Web Site
|
New Bradwell School is a large combined school with just over 400 pupils ranging in age from Nursery to Year 6. It is situated in the heart of New Bradwell which is on the edge of the new city of Milton Keynes.
As well as giving information about the school we hope that this website will show some of the varied activities that the children take part in. |

Free Milk for the Under Fives |
Cool Milk |
|
All children under 5 are entitled to free school milk. We operate this scheme through 'Cool Milk @ school ltd.' If you would like your child to have milk at snack time you need to collect a form from the school. The children may continue to have the milk after their fifth birthday if they are in the reception class but there will be a charge. Click on the link to go to the Cool Milk site. | | |

At New Bradwell School we believe that education should be a 'real' experience for children. We place a great emphasis on work based around first-hand experience and study. Great emphasis is placed on teaching each child to observe and record closely, accurately and with sensitivity, and to develop lively and enquiring minds. We believe that taking children on Educational Visits fulfils these aims. The youngest children go for walks around the local area, to a farm and other interesting places. Children as young as Year 2 go on a residential visit staying away from home for 4 nights. In the past few years children have visited Matlock, North Wales, The Lake District, Yorkshire, Cornwall and France. The children travel in the school's own mini-buses and (apart from years 2 and 3) stay on camp-sites. We are therefore able to keep costs to a minimum. In October children from Years 3 to 6 stay on narrow boats as they travel along the canals of England and Wales. These residential visits are enjoyed by staff, governors and children alike and have become a very important part of life at New Bradwell School. We hope to show you some of the highlights of this year's visits on this site.
