Music clubs and activities
Music is an important part of school life and is taught by a specialist teacher. Children may sing in the church and in the school choir, and play in the school orchestra.
Private tuition can be arranged for piano, violin, flute, clarinet and guitar and pupils are entered for the Royal College of Music exams.
Every year we present a musical evening where children are encouraged to show off their musical talents. Music is a prominent part of our Christmas and end of year productions and we have also taken our musicians out to entertain the residents of Weald Hall, a local nursing home.

Sport is thriving at Sacred Heart School!
Boys and girls achieve a high level of skill under the excellent direction of our specialist games teacher.
From the Foundation stage, carefully planned activities enable the children to improve co-ordination and proficiency in basic skills which are transferred into games situations as they progress through the school.
We play matches regularly against other schools in the area and we enter teams in festivals and competitions locally and further afield.
Our U11 netball team has enjoyed a terrific season with an almost unbeaten record, conceding only one match!
The P.E. curriculum is extended through a varied range of lunch time and after-school clubs and activities.
