Welcome to Stoneferry Primary School
Stoneferry Primary School, built in the early 1980s, is a relatively modern school, situated only a few miles from the centre of Hull. There has been a school on this site for many decades, with some of our pupils' parents having actually attended the former school.
There are currently around 180 pupils in attendance at the school, including a very well established nursery provision for children aged 3 and 4 years old.
Stoneferry Primary School successfully provides a warm and friendly learning environment in which children are encouraged to reach their own full potential. It was recently described by Ofsted as an effective school which takes good care of its children. It was praised for its high level of pastoral care and the 'family' atmosphere that was apparent as the inspection was carried out.
The school fosters high expectations, and has rising standards. With its enthusiastic and highly motivated staff, Stoneferry Primary School provides a well balanced, and sound educational foundation for all children.
The school welcomes visits from parents, so that they may come and see for themselves what Stoneferry has to offer.
