All pupils who live more than a mile from school are entitled to free school transport and receive a bus pass from CNES. Bus timetables are available from the transport operators or the Education Department or request.
Pupils requiring transport on medical grounds must produce medical certificates before the beginning of the school session so that suitable arrangements can be made in advance.
All pupils travelling to and from school by bus are expected to behave in an orderly mannerly way.
In the interest of pupils safety the following safety procedures are in place:
- Pupils travelling home by bus will not leave the school premises until the bus arrives and stops at the school. Staff will supervise this daily.
- Parents arriving at 3.15pm to collect their children must come to the school door rather than allow their child to cross the road on his/her own. * This applies in particular to pupils in P1-3 classes.
