Chapter School is a happy and successful school with excellent examination results. We value the hard work and good behaviour that make it possible for every pupil to fulfil their potential. As a Business and Enterprise College, we are pleased to cater for girls who experience considerable learning difficulties as well as those destined for higher education. Thorough preparation is provided for National Curriculum assessments, GCSEs, Advanced Levels and a full range of vocational courses.

Chapter has an excellent reputation both locally and across the country. This was enhanced when we became one of the first Kent Partnership secondary schools to gain recognition as an Investor In People. We value highly our links with the community and work with local businesses in lessons and through work experience placements to ensure relevance to adult life.

We are fully aware of the pressures on our pupils. In partnership with parents, we provide the sound guidance and unwavering support needed by young people as they come to terms with today's world.

Chapter is holding two open days in the next few weeks. Prospective parents will be able to visit the school during Focus Days to see lessons in progress. Open evenings will also be held. The dates are 10th October and 28th November.

The recent news involving the possible reorganisation of secondary education in Strood has caused a wide range of emotions from anxiety through to anger for existing and prospective parents, pupils and staff. The Head Teacher is keen to emphasise that it is "business as usual" for the pupils. She is very keen that the views of both existing and prospective parents and pupils on the proposed plan are heard. Consultation papers from Medway Council will be available from 8th October 2007.
