Welcome banner

Welcome to our website. I hope you will find out more about our school through these exciting pages. Much of the work for this site was produced by children, reflecting our confidence in them to do well.

We are a school undergoing great change. Our buildings have been modernised with old huts being replaced by a new five-classroom block. Our superb site, with woodlands, ponds and meadows has been improved with additional play equipment in the playground.

Our curriculum has been completely upgraded over the last year and is proving a hit with teachers, parents and most importantly our children.

Our children are drawn from a very wide range of backgrounds and they bring variety to our school. They come to school with an infectious enthusiasm, expecting to have a good day.

We think it is so important to build a safe school where children are confident and willing to have a go. Our local secondary school say they can recognise our children by their confidence and drive. It's a reputation we are very proud of.

Enjoy your visit to this site. Better still, come and visit us and see for yourself!

- Peter Wibroe, Headteacher

MISSION STATEMENT

Children represent the potential of our society and the future of our global community. The aim of our school is to fully develop every child intellectually, morally, spiritually and physically. We believe that every day is a day in which a child can fulfill their potential.

In partnership with parents, staff, governors and the wider community, the vision at Cranbrook Church of England Primary School is as follows:

Classroom image- To be recognized as an outstanding school that provides a stimulating, creative and dynamic learning environment that strives for excellence and values achievement.

- To develop the skills of the learner within a happy atmosphere.

Church image- To prepare children to play an active role in their community.

- To offer understanding of the beliefs and traditions of the Christian faith together with an appreciation of other beliefs and cultures.

Pond image- To be a safe learning environment in which children feel secure, and where self-esteem, confidence and respect, both for self and for others, can be promoted.

- To be a learning community in which individual needs and talents are valued and success is celebrated.

- To make our school a place where children want to be.

Gold certificate imagePeople should leave Cranbrook with their understanding deepened, their minds enriched, and their hearts inspired, so that they love learning and embrace the challenges of the future.
