Head Teacher`s welcome message

Welcome

Dear prospective students and parents,

I am extremely proud of the students, staff, governors, buildings and facilities at The Bradbourne School. We work together in a positive and challenging way to provide a flourishing and engaging learning environment so that each girl achieves her
full potential.

When your daughter comes here, she will find a warm welcoming, purposeful environment. She will be valued and respected, encouraged to work in teams and contribute to the wider curriculum. She will engage in a thriving and creative atmosphere, which is designed to allow her to develop self confidence and responsibility to others. We are committed to the serious business of teaching and learning and do this through challenge, encouragement and support within a secure setting. She will develop the skills required for higher education, the world of work and adult life. However, we also believe that learning should be both innovative and fun.

Achievement is at the heart of our philosophy on education, but we nurture creativity, risk taking, personal and physical development, individuality and spirited, enquiring minds within a setting of traditional values. Staff and students work together in a spirit of co-operation in their quest for achievement and excellence. Our staff are well qualified and give freely of their time and expertise to ensure both support and challenge for our girls.

Your daughter will have a real sense of belonging to the school and will be nourished and encouraged to achieve her best on her journey through the school. She will join a community where courtesy and respect, pride in personal appearance and a sense of fun are nurtured within a disciplined environment.

We hope that our prospectus will inspire you to find out more and to visit our school and make an application to enrol your daughter here.

Mary Boyle – Head Teacher
