Mill O' Forest Primary School is situated in the town of Stonehaven which lies fifteen miles south of Aberdeen. Originally a fishing community, many of the adults now work in local business whilst most travel into the city to work.
The school is open plan, has a nursery unit, a large gym hall, a G.P. room, a computer room, infant and senior libraries, a Braille room, a staff room and usual offices. The children also enjoy a tarmac playground with open playing fields.
MISSION STATEMENT
At Mill O' Forest everyone is considered an individual with the potential to be realised, strengths to be recognised and needs to be met. We endeavour to provide each of our pupils with an enjoyable, quality educational experience, which will prepare them to participate fully as adults in society. |
