Pupil Council
In 2001 the school decided to have a Pupil Council. Four pupils are elected from Primary 4, 5, 6 and 7. Once a month they all meet and discuss ideas to benefit the school.
One of the first things to be done was to design and make a school flag. Then the school set up a
Chess Club. Last year the girls wanted mirrors in the toilets. When the boys heard this idea they
wanted mirrors in their toilets too.
School Flag
In 2002 the Pupil Council decided to have a
school flag. We had a big competition and all the
pupils drew what they thought it should look like.
Kirsty won the competition and her design
became the official flag.
Uniform
Our school uniform has a red sweater
with a shield showing our school behind
the village sundial. It was designed by
Daniel O'Connor in 2005. We wear
black or navy skirts or trousers and a
white polo shirt. We also have a tie but
rarely wear it!
