Headteacher's Welcome
At Hemingford Grey Primary School, we share a commitment to creating a School of which children, parents, carers, governors and staff can be proud. A School where everyone is valued for their unique contribution and benefits from being part of a community focused on providing a high-quality learning environment.
Working as a team, we aim to provide a caring, secure and stimulating environment which nurtures the growth of children who are happy, well-balanced, well-educated individuals who can think and reason with open and enquiring minds. Children are encouraged to be confident, independent and autonomous learners and are supported in a way that not only enables them to meet the high expectations of teachers, parents and governors, but potentially to exceed their own expectations. Staff work in open partnership with parents, as co-educators, with children placed at the heart of the learning process.
The children in our School today will be the citizens of our communities in the 21st Century. The School works to prepare children as life-long learners and to cope with life in an increasingly complex and changing society.
Perhaps nothing can beat seeing for yourself, however, and we welcome and encourage personal visits to the School. If you are interested in finding out more, please contact the School Administrator to arrange an appointment. We look forward to meeting you.
Yours sincerely
Kate Fox
