About us
St Anne's is an all age school situated in Alderney in the beautiful Channel Islands. Alderney, the third largest of the Channel Islands, lies just 8 miles off the Normandy coast of France, and is the nearest to the mainland of Britain.
- St Anne's School is a very happy school.
- Staff and pupils know each other well and are relaxed in an environment which is comfortable and friendly.
- Within this atmosphere high expectations of our pupils can be realised.
- We believe that the size of the school allows pupils to receive individual attention and encourages good relationships.
St Anne's is a unique school and holds a special place in educating the children and serving the community of our Island and I hope that you will become partners with us in providing the very best. The atmosphere we aim to create is one of a large family where every member of the school is valued and feels a sense of belonging. It is a place where learning is at the heart and where both adults and children strive to acquire new skills and knowledge.
We are very proud of our school, our pupils and achievements. At St Anne's our standards of discipline are high and our children wear their uniform with pride. We have pleasant and well equipped teaching rooms in all parts of the school and highly motivated and well qualified teaching and ancillary staff. We have good links between home and school as we believe this partnership is essential so that difficulties can be shared, problems resolved and success celebrated. |
