Dean Oaks Primary School Infant site was built in 1970. There are six teaching areas with shared practical resource facilities. There is a large hall, which is carpeted and is used for music, dance, physical education and assemblies.
OFSTED SAID: PUPILS BEHAVE VERY WELL IN LESSONS, ASSEMBLIES, IN THE PLAYGROUND AND AROUND THE SCHOOL.

The surroundings include a pleasant outdoor area with wide expanses of grass, a hard surface, adventure playground and a grass covered mound. There is also a small copse and garden areas for the children to use. |

The school playground and grassed areas are enclosed by fencing. The building has an efficient security system in place with the main door having an entry code. All visitors sign in and out after using the buzzer to attract the attention of the secretary. The visitors wear an identification badge around school. The cloakroom and classroom doors have access for people with a disability.

Before and after school care is provided by Oak-kid-Oaks link club. The staff of the club work closely with the School to provide high quality care and good value for money.
