Evenwood Church of England Primary School is situated on the edge of the village of Evenwood, which is situated close to Bishop Auckland and 13 miles South West of Durham. At the moment the population of our village is about 1,975.
Evenwood itself is a busy community with a variety of shops and amenities. The majority of the schools pupils live in Evenwood, although we do have children attending from some of the surrounding villages.
Our Parish Church is called Saint Pauls. It was built in 1893 by John Ross In July 2005 the Revd K. Stevenson came to be our Priest in Charge we know him as Father Ken
A famous ex- pupil is Tony McMahon who attended our school in the early 90's. He now plays for Middlesborough F.C. in the Premiership League. |
