Primary School

At Toft Hill School we aim to:

Provide all pupils with a broad, balanced and challenging education regardless of age, abilities, beliefs or ethnic origins.

Provide a broad range of learning experiences to equip our pupils with the appropriate knowledge and skills to make a successful transfer to Secondary education.

Encourage the spiritual, moral, social, cultural and physical development of all our children.

Provide support and guidance to help pupils develop responsibility and pride in themselves, their school and their local environment.

Raise awareness of the richness and diversity of human culture and foster an atmosphere of mutual respect, based on care and tolerance for others.

Encourage pupils to use their initiative, to be creative, imaginative, enquiring, adventurous and ready to examine facts, ideas and views.

Support pupils in developing their independence as citizens in our modern society, whilst recognising everyone has a viewpoint that should be listened to.

Develop a genuine partnership with the whole community, where all are welcome to visit our school and share in its achievements.
