Welcome to our website, we hope you enjoy your visit
Here is what Thomas and Bailie have to say about our school:
We go to school in a village in the pretty county of Dorset. Across the road there is a beautiful clear stream and sometimes ducks waddle across the road. We are a church school and we think a lot about others. We have non-uniform days when we raise money for the poor people. Each year we raise over £900! In the playground we have toys for the Reception children, dressing up clothes, an adventure playground and a field. We have discos and trips and Mums and Dads who help. Rev Judy Hill talks to us about Mary and Joseph and Prof Mathews and Mr Gillham come in to tell us all sorts of things in assembly.

After school we have lots of clubs: dance, recorders, music, cricket, nature, gymnastics, African drumming..

Our school has a school council and a friendship Squad which helps people who want to play with a friend. We are a good and happy school with kind and friendly teachers. Our school is not just for working, it’s to help us make friends and learn new things.

For our children to receive the
highest quality education
informed by the Christian faith,
within a stimulating and safe
environment where each child
is valued. This will be best
achieved by staff, governors
and parents working in partnership

At our school we encourage the children to aim for 3 things:

1. to be happy and enjoy their time with us

2. to become independent learners

3. to behave well at all times, treating other people with

courtesy and consideration

We operate an open door policy within the school and wider community. As a result many friends and parent share our very active school life in a variety of ways such as helping in school, supporting school productions and attending weekly Good Work Assemblies.

We always welcome prospective parents at any time. If you would like further information about our school please contact us using the Contact Us details

Mrs Lesley Craze MA PGCE
Headteacher

We offer the children the option to attend extra-curricular activities, some of these are held at lunchtimes and some after school. We are lucky to have both staff and parents who run these clubs and all clubs are invariably over subscribed! Some of the clubs we offer are:

  • Dance & Drama Club
  • Recorder Club
  • Uni-Hock
  • African drumming
  • Nature Club
