Welcome

A warm welcome to HTS – a happy and bright community where we encourage young people to prosper and grow. From those very early days of Nursery and Foundation Stage, until they are ready and eager to take on the challenges of university life, our school is committed to providing every possible opportunity.

The links on the left of your screen will help you to navigate around the site and provide an insight into the HTS experience. This is the first step, you are welcome to visit the school to see for yourself, please contact us on 01562 822929, or visit us on our Open Morning and see us in action. I will be delighted to meet you.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Y. L. Wilkinson
Headteacher

About us

The school’s underlying philosophy has never changed – pupils come first; they are the very essence of the school. Opened in 1903, the school celebrated its Centenary in 2003 and produced a commemorative book ‘Holy Trinity Centenary’ – celebrating 100 years of Holy Trinity. Copies can be obtained by contacting the school’s administration office.

We continue to grow and build the school for future generations to come with a major investment of the school’s swimming pool. We are delighted that the pool, officially opened in May 2006, has proved to be a great success. Swimming has always been an important part of our school as children swim weekly from the age of 3 years upwards. Many thanks to everyone who contributed so generously.

Being housed on one site ensures continuity of education between the four main school sections: Nursery, Lower School, Senior School and Sixth Form. From the age of 3 months to 18 years for girls and up to 11 years for boys. Access to all areas of the school is undercover, with no need to dress for the ‘outside’ between lessons – a distinct advantage during the winter months.
