Ipsley Church of England middle school is administered by the Worcestershire LEA and was established in September 2001, following the merger of Moatfield Middle School and St. Peters C.E. Middle School, to provide comprehensive co-education for children between the ages of nine and thirteen years.
It forms part of a three tier system of education in the Redditch area, serving mainly the areas of the Matchborough Winyates and Winyates green.
The majority of our pupils will be drawn from the Matchborough First school, Roman Way First School and Ten Acres First school, though a number will also come to Ipsley from first schools in other areas of Redditch.
At thirteen+ the children usually proceed to Arrow Vale High School.
In September 2006 the school will be able to accommodate 720 pupils.
